The Brief

To address food poverty stigma through a strategic social impact campaign for Poole Waste Not Want Not. The goal was to reach isolated individuals who need support but are held back by the social pressure and shame of seeking help.

My Approach

Instead of a traditional ‘charity plea’, my strategy focused on the people surrounding those in need: friends and family. I used a ‘Dignity-First’ model to bypass the social friction and shame often linked to receiving aid. By positioning the social supermarket as an asset to the local community, the visual narrative feels like a low-stakes invitation rather than a crisis intervention.

Conceptual student project. Not an official commission for Poole Waste Not Want Not.
